A delegation from the Syndicate of Pharmaceutical Industries in Lebanon, headed by Dr. Carol Abi Karam, visited His Excellency the President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, at the Presidential Palace on February 24, 2025. The visit aimed to extend congratulations on his assumption of office, to present the current state of the pharmaceutical industry in Lebanon, and to discuss ways of developing this vital sector while highlighting its importance in supporting the national economy on various levels.
During the meeting, His Excellency affirmed to the Syndicate’s delegation:
“I stand by your side in all that is needed to strengthen and advance the pharmaceutical industry in Lebanon, as it is essential for the country to reclaim its industrial role, which has long distinguished it in the past.”
